What to Expect at a Specialty Appointment
Knowing what to expect at your first appointment will help make the process more pleasant for both you and your pet.
Fill Out a New Patient Form Prior to Arrival
Please fill out the appropriate New Patient Form online in advance to maximize your pet's appointment time. Please try to provide as much detail as possible.
Check-in For Your Appointment
When you arrive for your appointment you are welcome to come to the front desk or call (303) 424-6423 to check-in. Our reception staff will instruct you on the next steps for your appointment.
Examination, Diagnosis & Treatment
A full examination and any required testing will be done. Once your pet has been assessed, the doctor will talk to you personally (and explain your pet’s condition) outside or in the lobby. Your veterinary specialist will work with you to determine a treatment plan for your pet.
After your visit, we will also contact your primary care veterinarian and provide a detailed written report about your appointment and treatment plan.

We proudly serve pet owners and veterinarians in North Denver, Boulder, Westminster, Thornton, Broomfield, Northglenn and the surrounding areas by providing advanced-level services and procedures not generally available in family practice.
We will work closely with your family veterinarian and our network of specialists to provide the best course of treatment for your pet.
